In today’s world there are few good companies.  Finding a good company that provides quality equipment for photographers is always a delight.  Recently, I ran across Essential Photo Gear, a company that builds equipment made for photographers, because photographers design the gear.  Imagine that.

Interview with Jure Kravanja conducted by Claire Carter

I was very lucky to meet Jure during my time in Slovenia. He told me about his forthcoming trip to Iceland and he kindly agreed to share his experience with us on his return.

The PTR Team has selected two photographs that were posted to the PTR Forum as Photos of the Month for July 2008.

Neil Burton posted this photograph, taken in India.  In many ways the photograph is what photography and travel is about, that is, capturing a moment in time about a place one has visited.  Neil's use of black and white for this photograph brings drama to the scene.

The jagged Teton Range offers the photographer wonderous opportunities for landscapes as the valley to the South of the range is nearly flat, offering contrasts between sage covered fields and escarpments like none other in the United States.
