Slovenia: First PTR Workshop
By Claire Carter

PTR held its first workshop in October 2008 and here I present some of the images taken by (and of) participants.
The workshop was a huge success. The accommodation turned out to be even better than expected, the apartments gave everyone a bedroom to themselves, two nice lounges where we could meet and free internet access.

He had travelled to the UK to spend a week photographing with us and invited us to spend a week with him in Slovenia. This trip took place in May 2008 and during this time I had the opportunity to interview him about his photography adventures in Siberia.

Gitzo Travel Tripods
By Claire
Love them or hate them, landscape photographers need them.
It is one of those purchases that people seem to agonise about. Mainly I suspect because one size rarely fits all. We require stability but also want them to be light, people who travel know only too well the dilemma of weight restrictions. We sometimes need height on a subject but also need to get low.
